Panasonic introduces new microP2 SD-sized storage at NAB 2012

Among the recent announcement of some NAB 2012, Panasonic is showing off its new card microP2. That all high-speed transfer of pro video shooters come to expect from their hardware P2, but in a package size of SD card. Panasonic also showcased an accompanying adapter can be used to create new micro-sized card that is compatible with PCMCIA-based hardware, but they will need a firmware upgrade (at a cost not specified, of course) first. Of course, that’s still in the future, because it will hit the market until the spring of 2013. See our gallery for more pictures and a little after the break to see the press release.
