LG lines up Optimus 4X HD for launch in Germany, Sweden, Great Britain, Italy and Poland

While there are lots of excitement about the other quad-core Android phone, the LG has joined the party after the estimated Optimus 4X HD launched in several European countries next month. Germany, Sweden, Britain, Italy and Poland all on deck in June, which will bring the latest variant of Optimus 4.7-inch LCD 720p HD IP, Tegra 3 CPU (and saw a white reference here) and 2150 mAh battery coupled with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. On the software side, LG is touting the ability to create and share notes fast and “Media Flex” video playback. Audi goes hybrid and ultralight with R18 Le Mans racers

In general, when we talk of hybrids, we are talking about battery power the car either alone at low speeds, only igniting internal combustion engine when extra cars giddy-up as needed, or electric shock are gas piston driving change in the power plant glorified. E-Tron Audi Quattro is a little different, however. The R18 sports a traction system to all four wheels which operates a hub in an electric motor, while others get the juice from the 510 hp V6. E-Tron Quattro also has a brother, the Audi R18 Ultra, which seeks to offset the additional weight of the hybrid powertrain using a lightweight material such as carbon fiber, if possible – including the gearbox.
