Walmart to unleash its Vudu magic on South America, Europe, Asia

Walmart on the VUDU service is no finger in foreign waters for the first time, an expansion plan that could see them landing as many as 30 new countries. Mexico is the first to get the service some time in June – before it continues south to other Latin American countries. The remainder of the deployment will include Europe (including Britain and Ireland) and Asia, but it did not happen until later this year. While Netflix has beaten-path away from U.S. shores, it is clear Walmart expect strong retail presence (5,000 stores in 26 states) will help you get more than just a tourist visa.

Sharp’s bigger and better HDTVs for 2012 start hitting store shelves

According to schedule, please let us know it began shipping the Sharp Aquos LED 7-series HDTVs in 60 – and 70-inch size. At MSRPs of $ 2300 and $ 3300, respectively, the 745U models have an LED edge lighting, 3D, and the UI SmartCentral WiFi built in display applications, including Netflix, Hulu and Facebook. The 8-series models will carry the company’s latest Quad Pixel Plus 2 technology Quattron when they will start shipping later this month and the full array LED backlighting and ultra slim bezel design. TED expands its reach with streaming talks on Netflix

You can watch the TED talks with a number of devices via the web or applications available, but an organization that is often debated / conference has added another feather in the cap big enough: this stream Netflix. That includes about 200 talks to begin with, which are grouped into 14 different “shows” with titles like Space travel, cyber impressive, Wonder Building, and Video & Photo Mojo. They are all naturally available in HD, and they can see in Canada, Latin America, the UK and Ireland in addition to the U.S..
