Can not say we were surprised, but Meizu is finally gives us the lowdown on quad-core variant of its flagship Android smartphone. Dubbed simply the MX Quad-core, new devices are supported by Cortex-A9 based 32nm HKMG (High-K metal Gate) quad-core Samsung Exynos chip – no word on clock speeds or RAM, but we betting our money on Exynos 4412 that lasted up to 1.5GHz. On the software side you get a Meizu-organized Ice Cream Sandwich System (aka Flyme OS), although it is unclear whether the company will stick to the promise at the same time releasing a vanilla ROM.
